Billing & Fees

• The Annual Team Fee is charged at the time of registration and is non-refundable. This fee is a per swimmer /per season (August - July) fee and applies to monthly and annual billing groups. If a swimmer decides to take a break during the season, there will not be an additional team fee charged at the time of re-registration.
• All swimmers must register with USA Swimming at the beginning of the season.
• All meets have an entry fee, which varies based on the specific event. This fee will be communicated in the meet information email sent out ahead of time. In addition, a $5 surcharge will be added for meets held in the Austin area, and a $10 surcharge will apply for out-of-town meets. These surcharges help cover coaching expenses and administrative costs.
• All training fees will be billed to member accounts the first week of each month. Any changes to billing and/or participation in a group must be communicated prior to the month in which it will take affect.
• Groups are not pro-rated based on number of practices the swimmer attends.

Practices

• Swimmers are encouraged to attend as many practices as possible but are not required to attend all practices offered per group.
• Parents are not allowed on deck during practice times but are welcome to watch from the bleachers.
• Swimmers should have proper swim suit, cap and goggles for all practices.

Swim Meets

• Swimmers should wear team caps and suits to all swim meets.
• Parents are not allowed on deck during USA Swimming meets.
• Late entry fees are not allowed at USA Swimming meets. All meet entries must be submitted by the due date communicated by the coaching staff or the swimmer will not be able to attend that specific meet.
• 1 family member per swimmer should be prepared to volunteer at swim meets.

Eligibility

• Swimmers should be at least 5 years old and able to swim a 25 freestyle and 50 backstroke.
• Families must be members of Westlake Country Club.
• If new to the sport of swimming, the swimmer will complete an evaluation prior to registering.
